Yes, absolutely. We have no problem with you still trying to get a conventional sale. We can also try to sell your property as well as looking for an exchange for you. You do need to be aware that your other agent may increase their commission or charges if you advertise ‘multi agency’. (we don’t do that)We charge a % fee on completion of your sale or exchange, much like a conventional estate agent would. We would be happy to go through this with you when we meet. We do not ask for any fees upfront, we only get paid when we do the job.Not at all, you can trade up, trade down, or make a sideways move. If the property you move to is a higher price you pay the difference, if it is a lower price the buyer pays the difference to you. This is all sorted out through the solicitors and mortgage lenders so don’t worry.Afraid not! You are still effectively selling your property and buying another one, so the taxman still wants his cut! The good news, however, is that certain areas of the town are exempt from stamp duty up to a certain level.
